New Year's Day Walk
The latest in a growing tradition of family walks took place on new year's
day, starting from the middle of Old, and walking via the field towards
Old Poor's Gorse to the Parton's house near Faxton. A goodly number
of parishioners and friends and several dogs took part once again.
David and Jill provided splendid refreshments which were enjoyed by all -
special mention must go to Eleanor for her wonderful chocolate brownies.
With clouds gathering and the temperature dropping, the return journey
followed the stream from Faxton back into Old via the playing field.
Mud
was encountered in many places - here is Mark Willis in an attempt to
clean his boots . . .
